The Ladder We Use

A typical crypto casino VIP ladder, assembled from the published tiers of the major originals casinos. Individual sites vary, but the shape — early tiers cheap, top tiers astronomical — is universal.

VIP Tiers Are a Loyalty Price Tag, Not a Reward

Enter what you have wagered and your weekly pace to see where you sit on a typical crypto casino VIP ladder — and what the next badge costs in dollars and weeks.

Every crypto casino VIP program works the same way underneath the badges: your tier is a function of lifetime turnover, and lifetime turnover has a known expected cost. On a typical 1% originals game, every $100,000 wagered costs an expected $1,000. That makes the ladder easy to price. Bronze at $10,000 wagered costs about $100 in expected losses. Gold at $100,000 costs about $1,000. Diamond at $5,000,000 costs an expected $50,000 — and the perks at that level, generous as they look, are funded by a fraction of exactly that money. Casinos do not lose money on VIP programs; the programs exist because they reliably increase turnover.

That is the honest frame for this calculator's ETA line. If the next tier is $75,000 of turnover away and you wager $2,500 a week, the badge arrives in 30 weeks — 30 weeks of paying the edge on every bet. The correct question is never "how do I reach Platinum faster?" but "would I pay the expected cost of the climb, in cash, for the perks on offer?" Sometimes the answer is genuinely yes: at high turnover, tier-linked rakeback and reload bonuses can return a meaningful slice of the edge, and our rakeback calculator will tell you exactly how big that slice is. Usually, the answer is no, because the perks are worth less than the extra play the badge tempted you into.

Two behavioural traps deserve naming. Tier chasing: wagering more than you otherwise would because a progress bar is at 87% — the casino paid for that progress bar with your expected losses, and it works. Sunk-cost loyalty: staying at one casino for the tier rather than the odds, even when a better rakeback deal exists elsewhere. Your wagered total is not an asset; it is a record of fees already paid. Treat the ladder as a menu with prices, use the calculator to read them, and if the climb only makes sense "because I'm so close", close the tab and read our responsible gambling page instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the real ladder for Stake, Rainbet or Gamdom?

No single casino's — it is a typical composite of the published ladders at the major crypto originals casinos, which cluster around the same thresholds: roughly $10k for the first real tier, $100k for Gold-equivalent, and $1M–$10M for the top. Check your casino's own VIP page for exact numbers; the calculator's logic applies unchanged.

Does wagering count wins and losses, or just deposits?

Turnover counts every bet placed, regardless of outcome. Betting $10, winning, and betting the $20 again counts as $30 wagered. This is why VIP progress can look fast relative to deposits — recycling winnings builds turnover while the edge quietly taxes every cycle.

Are VIP perks ever worth the climb?

Occasionally, at the margin. If you were going to wager the volume anyway, tier-linked rakeback, reloads and level-up bonuses return part of the edge and are strictly better than not having them. The perks are never worth generating extra turnover to reach — the expected cost of the climb always exceeds the bonus for hitting the tier.

Why does the calculator show an expected cost of the climb?

Because turnover is not free. We multiply the remaining turnover by a 1% house edge — the standard rate on crypto originals — to show what reaching the next tier costs on average. Play higher-edge games like slots and the real figure is several times larger.
