Rakeback Is a Discount on Losing, Not a Way to Win
Enter your rate and turnover to see what comes back, what you still lose, and how much of the edge the rebate actually removes.
Crypto casinos pay rakeback as a percentage of the house's theoretical take on your action: rakeback = turnover × house edge × rate. Wager $500 a day on a 1% game for 30 days and the house expects to win $150 of your $15,000 turnover. A 10% rakeback deal hands $15 of that back; a 20% deal hands back $30. Your expected loss falls from $150 to $120 — real money, worth claiming, and still a loss.
The clearest way to think about it is as an edge reduction. Rakeback at rate r turns a house edge of e into an effective edge of e × (1 − r). A 20% rebate on a 1% game leaves you playing against 0.80%. That is the best price you will get in a casino, and it is still a price: no rakeback rate below 100% ever makes the number positive, which is why operators are happy to advertise it loudly. It costs them a fifth of their margin on you and buys them all of your turnover.
Where rakeback genuinely matters is game and volume selection. On a 1% originals game the rebate is small because the edge is small. On 4.5% slots the same turnover generates roughly 4.5× more theoretical loss — and therefore 4.5× more rakeback, which tells you exactly how much more those games were costing you in the first place. High-volume players grinding low-edge games with a boosted rate get the closest thing to fair odds a casino sells. Everyone else should read the rakeback line as a receipt: it is proportional to what you are losing.
One practical note on the presets above: rates differ wildly by code and tier. Rainbet pays 10% weekly rakeback boosted to 20% with code BOOST20; Stake's rakeback starts around 5% and must be unlocked at sign-up with GETRAKEBACK — it cannot be added later; Gamdom pays 15% instantly for the first 7 days with 15BOOST. Frequently Asked Questions
Is rakeback paid even when I win?
Yes. Rakeback is calculated on turnover × house edge — the casino's theoretical win — not on your actual results. You receive it after winning sessions too, which is pleasant, but over the long run your actual losses converge toward the theoretical figure the rebate is based on.
Can rakeback make gambling profitable?
No. Rakeback at rate r reduces the effective edge to edge × (1 − r), which stays negative for any rate under 100%. A 20% rebate on a 1% game means you lose 0.8% of turnover instead of 1% — a better price for the same losing product.
Which rakeback deal is best right now?
Of the codes we track, Rainbet's 20% boost via BOOST20 is the highest flat rate available from day one. Stake's GETRAKEBACK starts lower but scales with VIP level, and Gamdom's 15BOOST pays 15% but only for the first 7 days. The presets load each one so you can compare at your own turnover.
Why does my real result differ from the calculator?
The calculator shows expected values — long-run averages. Any given week is dominated by variance and can land far above or below the expected loss line. The rakeback figure itself is the most predictable output, since it depends only on turnover, not on whether you won.
