How We Rate Crypto Casinos
Every score on this site comes from the same rubric: six criteria, fixed weights, applied identically to every casino — including the ones that pay us the most. Here is the entire methodology, so you can check our work.
The Six Criteria and Their Weights

Each criterion is scored 0–10, multiplied by its weight and summed to a final score out of 10. Weights reflect what actually damages players: trust failures and bad bonus terms cost real money, so those two carry the most, together with the games you will spend all your time in.
How Scores Map to Stars
Card layouts show a five-star summary. It is derived mechanically: the score out of 10 is halved and rounded to the nearest whole star — an 8.2 becomes 4 stars (★★★★☆), a 9.1 becomes 5. Nothing editorial happens in that conversion. The score, not the stars, is the precise figure.

You will notice no casino on this site currently scores above 8.2. That is deliberate calibration, not modesty: a 9+ requires excellence in all six columns at once, and offshore crypto casinos essentially always concede points somewhere — usually on licensing substance or bonus fine print. Independence: How Money Is Kept Away From Scores
Every casino we list is an advertising partner, and we earn a commission when players sign up through our links — the full picture is in the affiliate disclosure. That creates an obvious tension, and we manage it with three hard rules:
- Commission rates never enter the rubric. Scores are computed from the six criteria above and nothing else. The casino that pays us best and the one that pays us worst are graded on the same sheet.
- Drawbacks are mandatory. Every review carries a cons list, and partners do not get to preview, edit or veto copy. No operator has ever seen a review before publication.
- Ranking follows score. Comparison tables order by score. A partner cannot buy position; the only way up is to fix the thing we marked down.
We do not accept payment for score changes, and if a partner made continued partnership conditional on one, we would end the partnership and keep the review up.
Re-Review Cadence
Casinos change — bonuses get reworked, withdrawal speeds drift, terms get quietly edited. Our maintenance schedule:

Limits of the Method
Honest caveats: we test as players, not auditors — we cannot see solvency or internal fraud tooling. Support sampling is a handful of contacts, not a census. Withdrawal-speed experience varies by coin, amount and KYC status. And a score is a snapshot; the dated re-review note on each review tells you how fresh it is.
